Third
grade brings back the never ending little strips of green ink multiplication
tests to make sure we knew our times-tables from 0-12. This also
instituted classroom rivalries as the first to finish would put up one
finger, the second two fingers, etc., until the ones who did not give a
damn finished. Additionally, we had the Science Research Associates, Inc. SRA reading levels to get through. I recall getting to Aqua, but I never could break into the metallic colors like Erin Callahan. |
